THQ has announced MX vs ATV Legends, the latest in the off-road racing series. It's coming to PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S|X and Xbox One, and it will have a Career and Trails mode (that will apparently pit players against nature like never before) plus split-screen and online multiplayer.
It also features the deepest career mode in the series to date, and players will be able to carve their own path to the podium with a level of freedom that hasn't been seen in MX vs ATV before. You'll be using sponsorship opportunities and special invitational events to try and become the best off-road racer out there and eventually become a quote on quote Legend.
Your time is now, apparently, especially with THQ also announcing a bunch of other titles as part of their tenth-anniversary event. A few of these games are Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed, Jagged Alliance 3, and SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, which is a new 3D platformer and should get a lot of people excited.
Check out the announcement trailer below:
Originally, the MX vs ATV franchise was bought by THQ Nordic in 2013 for $4.9 million in 2013 as part of a package deal that brought over 150 individual games into the fold. That isn't to say the series has been in hibernation since then, though, with MX vs. ATV Supercross releasing in 2014 and MX vs. ATV All Out releasing in 2018. While Supercross and All Out received largely negative reviews from critics, MX vs ATV Legends won't be bad as well... right? I guess we'll have to see.
If you're interested in checking out MX vs ATV Legends, you can go to the Steam, PSN, or Xbox pages as well as the main website, Facebook, and Discord pages. For more information on MX vs ATV Legends and everything THQ Nordic, stay tuned to TechRaptor.
