Today Mojang released a new trailer for its ultra-popular sandbox game Minecraft, but this one is different from what you might expect.

Focusing on the game's cold biomes, it's basically a full-fledged nature documentary focusing on an Arctic fox, a polar bear, and a rabbit. It's very cute and endearing, and I dare say quite soothing.

If it wasn't for Minecreaft's iconic visuals and you just close your eyes, you could absolutely be watching any nature documentary on an educational channel.

You can watch it below.

Minecraft is currently waiting for the full release of the next major update numbered 1.20 and titled "Trails & Tales". We've already seen the new blocks that will make their way into Minecraft with the update, alongside the cherry blossom biome, the Sniffer mob, and the new Archaeology feature. At the moment, we don't yet know if the feature list is locked or if there's more to the update that Mojang hasn't revealed just yet.

If you're not familiar with Minecraft, it's a massively-popular sandbox game currently published by Microsoft following its acquisition of Mojang on pretty literally every platform with a chip inside. I'd list them for you, but I've honestly lost count. The latest major patch, The Wild Update, was released a while ago, so the times are quite mature for something new.

Recently, Mojang also released its younger brother, Minecraft Legends, which isn't a sandbox game. Yet, it brings back the world, the characters, and the aesthetic for a charming action real-time-strategy game. It's available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
