Since its launch in June, we've seen two new characters for the first Season Pass of Guilty Gear Strive. It's time for the next fighter, and this inclusion is none other than the super edgy, very deadly Happy Chaos.

Announced today by developer Arc System Works is the news that the third fighter for the Season Pass 1 is Happy Chaos, who is coming to Guilty Gear Strive later this month. With a spiky, dark halo, horns, and an overall punk aesthetic, he uses a mix of a large pistol, melee, and dark powers to conquer foes on the battlefield. The trailer for Happy Chaos is below:

You'll notice at the bottom of the screen is a count for Happy Chaos' bullets, so they appear to be a finite resource, perhaps much to the delight of those who despise spamming zoner characters. He also uses decoys on the battlefield, summoned by his dark powers; this might serve as a chance to separate from opponents putting on the pressure. Either way, it remains to be seen how Happy Chaos shapes up against the rest of the cast.

Players can also find his character bio on the Guilty Gear website -- he is listed as two out of five stars in difficulty rating, so new or inexperienced players might find some affinity towards our edgy friend here.

When Can We Play Happy Chaos in Guilty Gear Strive?

Guilty Gear Strive's character announcements lead into their official release soon after the reveal. In the case of Happy Chaos, he launches on November 30, 2021 for those owning the Season Pass 1. If you don't own the pass but want to purchase Happy Chaos individually, you'll have to wait a few days after on December 3, 2021.

Goldlewis Dickinson and Jack-O are also available to purchase via the Season Pass or individually. Next year, we can expect the pass to finish with the inclusion of two new characters as well as two new battle stages. The new characters could be Baiken and Slayer, which is something dataminers found a bit after release. Jack-O and Happy Chaos were included in the same leak, so the probability seems high.

With Smash players receiving their last DLC character with Sora from Kingdom Hearts, new fighters in other games have often gotten overshadowed by Nintendo's big events. It's time to get excited for other fighting games' DLC, so get hyped for the release of Happy Chaos in a few weeks on November 30.
