The Game Awards are here and bring with it a whole bunch of announcements. One of the biggest surprises from E3 this year was A Way Out, catching a lot of people's attention. At The Game Awards this year, we got more details on the game as well as a release date. A Way Out releases March 23rd, 2018.
There was a new trailer, showing off new scenes but not a whole lot of new information. A Way Out is a cooperative narrative experience played on the same screen via splitscreen. The trailer focuses on the main characters, Vincent and Leo. The two characters work together to break out of prison and continue their story from there. Vincent is the more cautious and thoughtful character, where Leo is more brash and quicker to act. No doubt there will be some clashing along the way.
