Reef Entertainment has announced that Terminator: Resistance is receiving Infiltrator Mode, where players can fight the Resistance as the T-800. While doing so, they will use a "wide variety of weaponry" to breach the Resistance's defenses. Players will also have to build up their data banks by claiming INTEL from Resistance patrols and caches. Once done, they will use their Intel to discover key enemy strongholds.
Once done, players will have to eliminate the Tech-Com Field Commander, but if the player loses they'll have to start again from the beginning. When the player completes the mission, they'll then be able to try again, and/or check the Steam Leaderboards and see how they matched up against the world.
The update also includes two free digital comic books. It's called Terminator: Resistance - Zero Day Exploit Parts 1 & 2, and they tell the story of Commander Baron and Doctor Mack and what happened to them before the events of the main game. The comic is available in PDF format, and after updating the game, players will be able to see the comics within the game's local files.
If you are unsure of how to get to the comics, here's how:
- Right-click Terminator: Resistance in your Steam library
- Select "Properties"
- Select the "Local Files" tab at the top of the window
- Click the "Browse Local Files" button
- Open the Zero Day Exploit comic file with your preferred PDF program
Terminator: Resistance's latest update is currently available on Steam. If you haven't bought the game, it is available for 40% off for $23.99 Freedom Dollars.
