The action MMORPG Tera will be coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 sometime later this year publisher En Mass Entertainment has announced.
Unlike some of its MMORPG predecessors and contemporaries, Tera makes use of what they call an "action combat" system. Players have to actively keep their characters moving and try to get into ideal positions for flanking and doing damage instead of simply mashing keys and waiting for ability cooldowns to finish. A trailer for the game's upcoming Xbox One and PlayStation 4 release was debuted alongside this announcement:

Although it initially launched with a paid model, Tera transitioned to a free-to-play business model in February 2013. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will also be free-to-play. Of course, as with most free-to-play games there are some limitations on free accounts. The Trade Broker (the in-game auction house) requires that free players post a small fee in order to list items for sale. An optional "Elite" subscription is available for $14.99 a month, and players can also purchase individual items or account enhancements via the in-game microtransaction store. The differences between Free and Elite accounts are spelled out on the game's official website.
As for the controls, the publisher has stated that the game has been rebuilt "from the ground up" in order to accommodate a different control scheme. If you own either an Xbox One or PlayStation 4, you can register for the closed beta of the console version of Tera at this page. No official release date for either the beta or the game has been announced as of yet other than "sometime in 2017". In the meantime, you can grab the game for yourself directly from the game's developer or on Steam for free.
