The Temtem Kisiwa Update release date has finally been locked in, and it's a lot sooner than you might've thought: you'll be able to play this latest batch of Temtem content starting on July 21, 2020. That's tomorrow!

Check out all of the new goodies coming in the official Temtem Kisiwa Island trailer!

If you haven't yet played Temtem, it's a monster battle game similar in spirit to stuff like Pokemon or Digimon. Temtem Tamers from around the world get together to capture creatures and battle one another.

Temtem has one advantage over its competition: it's pretty much a Pokemon-style MMO game, so you'll never be short of people to play with. That said, the inability to play offline might be a downside for fans of these games, so keep that in mind.

The Kisiwa Update has been in the works for a while now, and now we know when it's going to be coming out: the Temtem Kisiwa Update release date has been locked in for July 21, 2020.

What's Coming on the Temtem Kisiwa Update Release Date?

What new goodies are arriving with the Kisiwa Update? The top of the list, of course, includes a brand-new island for players to explore and a fair few more creatures to capture, but that's not all — some new details have been revealed in today's Steam announcement.

The game's chat system has been entirely revamped from the ground up. Chat is now divided into several tabs and players can whisper any other player or talk with their Club members. Of course, several moderation functions like blocking, muting, and reporting have also been built into this new chat system.

If you've noticed that bit about "Club members" in the last paragraph, you'll be happy to hear that Clubs — Temtem's version of clans or guilds — is getting its first iteration in this patch. There aren't any serious gameplay features just yet, but players will be able to customize its banner and invite up to 50 members.

Also arriving in this update is a new set of emotes and the ability to remap keys. More details on this and other features will be revealed in tomorrow's patch notes.

Don't forget that Temtem's price goes up by $2.50 tomorrow when the update goes live! If you've been thinking about picking up this game, you might want to buy it on Steam while you can still get it at its lower price of $34.99.

Are you going to buy this game before the Temtem Kisiwa Update release date or do you want to wait for there to be more content? How do you think Temtem holds up against Pokemon and Digimon? Let us know in the comments below!

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
