There's some good news for the Temtem fans out there in the world — the developers have announced that it's crossed the 500,000 sales milestone. What's more, the Temtem 0.5.13 update has arrived and made trading a whole lot safer.

The announcement of Temtem hitting their sales milestone was pushed out on the game's official Twitter account. The developers had been sharing interesting facts about the game like the most picked Temtem in Competitive (that's Kinu) and the most banned Temtem (that's Volarend, which also is the least-encountered creature in the wild). After their data dump was done, they dropped the good news.

"Interesting facts, don't you think?" the tweet stated. "Here's another nice number: Temtem has officially sold over 500.000 copies worldwide! We wanted to thank everyone for their support, and take a look at how we are doing so far[.] There is so much more yet to come!"

The developers announced that the game's roadmap is currently being polished and should be making its debut soon. For now, however, we get to enjoy the Temtem  0.5.12 update and its improvements to trading.

What Changes Are Coming to Trading in the Temtem 0.5.13 Update?

Trading is always a tricky proposition in MMOs, but Temtem had some notable weaknesses in the area. Now, the folks at Crema have made it much safer.

Firstly, a countdown has been added to the trade screen. Once a trade is confirmed, both players will have five seconds to review the trade and cancel it if they think something's off. This should help reduce any issues resulting from last-minute item swaps. Furthermore, existing the trade screen instantly cancels the "Ready" status, preventing the trade from going through without the player noticing.

These aren't the only improvements coming to the game, mind. Other big additions include increased server room sizes and a new music track for the competitive pick & ban phase; you can read more about them in the full Temtem 0.5.13 update patch notes. If you don't already own this game, you can get it on Steam or on the Humble Store at the price of $34.99 or your regional equivalent.
