Cygames, the development company behind the incredibly popular collectible card game Shadowverse, has said in the past that it plans to updated the game with a new set expansion every three months. It seems as those the company is sticking to this promise as the Shadowverse Twitter account put a message out to its followers of a new upcoming expansion set titled “Tempest of the Gods“.

Tempest of the Gods will feature 104 brand new cards, sixteen of which will be Legendary rarity. Cygames has also teased images of three new follower cards from the set – Bloodcraft’s Bronze rarity Spiderweb Imp, Dragoncraft’s Silver rarity Wrath Dragon, and the Neutral class Legendary rarity Zeus. No information on these cards abilities is available at this time, but the attack and health of each follower is present on their respective cards, as well as their play point cost (although Cygames notes that this information is subject to change).

At the time of writing this article, there is no information on when exactly players can expect Tempest of the Gods to be released; however, if Cygames holds true to the schedule they followed with the previous expansion set Rise of Bahamut, then players should expect to see Tempest of the Gods out by the end of March at the latest.

Shadowverse is currently available free-to-play on Steam, as well as on Google Play and the App Store, with some minor optional micro-transactions that can be avoided without any noticeable impact on gameplay experience. Interested players can find more information on the set on its dedicated set page.
