Tekken Extreme Tournament in Santiago, Chile is a Master event in the Tekken World Tour and the final South American event of the circuit. However, since South and North America all count as one region for the TWT, you can count on a few players from the United States to make an appearance and try to score some valuable TWT points. As with all Master events, a $10,000 pot bonus is also added to the prize pool, offering a respectable payday to whoever takes home the win.

Streaming was handled by the official Tekken channel on Twitch. As usual, players will be listed in “[sponsor/team name] | [player name]” format, with their used characters in brackets. Unfortunately, we cannot provide direct links to brackets, as they do not seem to be hosted on either Smash.gg or Challonge.

Tekken 7

Due to being a specialized event featuring one game, top 16 will be listed instead of top 8.

  • 1. ORG | Crespo [Akuma]
  • 2. FNM | Sapito [Xiaoyu]
  • 3. Avalon | Ruperto [Heihachi, Kazumi, Jin]
  • 4. Circa | Joey Fury [Jack-7]
  • 5. AEG | Misterio [Leo, Claudio]
  • 5. HDG | True Alvin [Katarina, Lili]
  • 7. AEG | D@X [Eliza]
  • 7. Roy Nichi [Hwoarang]
  • 9. Brian Power [Eliza, Asuka]
  • 9. Avalon | Abel del Maestro [Eddy]
  • 9. NM | El Negro [Master Raven]
  • 9. Avalon | Joseph King [Bob]
  • 13. AEG | Parka [Lars, Bob]
  • 13. HannyMaster [Paul]
  • 13. SCV | Snake [Feng]
  • 13. Alejandro [Jack-7]
A lot of obscure, but talented names showed up to this tournament and broke through some of the skilled players visiting from abroad. Crespo, from Peru, will be awarded 150 TWT points for his victory, which should be enough to place him within qualification range for the Tekken World Tour Global Finals in November. This would make him the only South American player to qualify thus far into the circuit. Joey Fury, the only North American to reach top 8, is already comfortably high in the standings, to finishing the tournament at fourth will not affect his qualification.
