If you've always wondered what could be a taste associated with your favorite Pokemon Scarlet & Violet starter Pokemon, the popular Japanese convenience store chain FamilyMart has the answer.

Starting on April 25, three special "Pokemon Frappe" milkshakes will be available at the 16,500 FamilyMart stores across Japan. Each is associated with a Pokemon Scarlet & Violet starter, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.

The price is 350 yen including taxes ($2.60 at the current exchange rate), and funnily, each also comes with a bit of Pikachu in the form of touches of yellow. It's worth mentioning that FamilyMart launched Pikachu's own "Pikachu Pineapple Frappe" last summer. Quite obviously, the experiment was successful and they're doubling down on it.

Sprigatito's milkshake will be muscat grape flavored, Fuecoco's will be strawberry banana, and Quaxly's will feature a popping Lamune soda flavor with pieces of pineapple pulp.

To celebrate the event, two stores in Tokyo (Sunshine City West and Sumida Oshiage Station) and one in Osaka (Namba Sennichimaedori) will be decorated with Pokemon imagery, as you can see below.

If you're interested in the franchise beyond games, we also saw the reveal of a new Pokemon Jet in Japan, operated by ANA.
