What's Coming in the Future Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord Updates?

One of the central highlights for future Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord updates are improvements to the Kingdom and Politics systems. Implementing rebellions "will take some time," but TaleWorlds says that it's working on it. Improvements to Kingdom decisions and the ability to grant or relinquish fiefs are also planned for this part of the game.

Big improvements are also coming to the character system. Players will be able to educate their children with a new feature in the future — or they can decide to eschew the family life and disable birth entirely. Players will also be able to disable death and aging. TaleWorlds has also committed to introduce missing or reworked perks and continue to work on bugged perks.

Of course, a big part of the game is its quests and story; this area of gameplay will also be getting some love. New quests, scene notifications, and "Conspiracy Progression" quests are in the works. The ability for players to escape from prison is another highly-requested feature that fans are sure to love. Naturally, TaleWorlds also has plenty of bug fixes and balance changes planned for the future Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord updates; you can read about everything it's planning in this forum post.
