Tactical RPG Warsaw is coming to PC on September 4th. Developer Pixelated Milk and publisher Gaming Company say console versions are on the way too.
Warsaw is set during the World War II Warsaw Uprising of 1944. You'll be leading the Polish resistance against the titular city's Nazi oppressors. As you fight, you'll encounter Nazi patrols, help beleaguered citizens, and have to make tough moral decisions. The game has a permadeath mechanic which will negatively impact the resistance's morale and the emotional wellbeing of the deceased's loved ones. You can check out a trailer for Warsaw below:

Warsaw is described by its creators as a blend of RPG and strategy game. You must carefully manage your resources, your equipment, and your squad. Your resistance base will allow you to customize and develop your characters. From weaponry to abilities, you'll be able to build the perfect squad for your play style. Pixelated Milk and Gaming Company are promising an intricate turn-based combat system that encourages you to experiment and use your team co-operatively.
Your goal in Warsaw is to liberate the city zone by zone. You will need to scout the streets, collect resources, and recruit new members to your cause. When you encounter an enemy patrol, you'll need to take into account positioning, weapon range, ammo consumption, and strategic placement of your troops. The two studios behind the game have worked extensively with historical experts to create a UI that feels authentic to the time period. If you're into turn-based games like Darkest Dungeon, you should find a lot to love here.
Warsaw launches for PC via Steam on September 4th. You can wishlist the game on Steam right here. At some point in the future, you'll also be able to get it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
