Publisher Fellow Traveler and developer Kaizen Game Works has announced the results of their collaboration: Paradise Killer, a stylish 2D and 3D open-world mystery title that's packed full of colorful characters.

The summary for this is pretty wild. The game takes place on Paradise, which is an island that regenerates every few millennia. Aliens have psychic powers that will eventually release within the universe to feed and resurrect their dead gods. However, demons will eventually corrupt and each island until a new version of reality is created by the Council.

It's not perfect, but it's made even less so when the Council and Paradise are killed both, meaning that the main character Lady Love Dies is summoned in order to find out what happened and discover the culprit of this murder spree.

Players are tasked with finding the killer and building a case against them. Eventually, they will take their case to trial and argue for their interpretation of evidence. Only when someone is successfully convicted will the crime be considered solved and Paradise saved. However, the truth of the matter is that there are many possible killers, meaning that even if someone is convicted it may not be the real killer.

Everyone on Paradise has something to lose and something to gain. Paradise is an island set in the future, so players will have to dig deep into the history of the island to help them solve the case and help puzzle out clues and unlock hidden areas.
