Team17 has announced theThe Survivalists release date. The Survivalists, another game set in the same world as The Escapists, is a game where players will get transported on a fantasy deserted island and do their best to survive.
Up to four players will be able to join forces and help each other in order to stay alive in the harsh world of The Survivalists. There are small and large items that can be crafted, such as weapons, tools, and buildings. Monkeys can be enlisted to help the group in specific tasks, such as gathering resources or protecting the group. Players are also encouraged to explore their surroundings, as they'll encounter dangerous wildlife, cool secrets, and mythical enemies.
Interestingly, The Survivalists will be available on the Apple TV, Mac, iPhone, and iPad through Apple Arcade, which is a $4.99/month subscription service. Players will be able to use a 30-day free trial to start before reverting to the subscription. Those who play the game through the Apple Arcade will get the full game along with all updates and expansions without any ads or additional in-game purchases.
What is The Survivalists release date?
The Survivalists release date on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch is October 9. There's a demo available right now on Steam if you're interested in trying it out before The Survivalist release date.
Those who pre-order the game on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One will receive the Monkey Business DLC, which will give extra items to such as the exclusive Straw Hate, The Escapists Guard Hat, and Unicorn Hat. The monkeys will receive hats as well with the DLC, such as the Top Hat, Lumberjack Hat, Chef Hat, Crown, Hard Hat, and Pirate Hat.
