After being announced recently, the season pass for sci-fi soulslike The Surge 2 has now been detailed.
The season pass, which is available right now, is broken into four parts. The first is also currently available, which is the BORAX-I Quantum Weapon. Letting users switch between a mace and a laser sword, this new tool should assist in cutting down any man or robot in your way.
The second set of content drops in November, and it's a set of 13 new weapons. While we don't get any details on the weapons, it will likely give us many fun ways to crush, chop, shock, and all sorts of other things to the various enemies.
The third batch of content comes in December, with three new armor sets. The screenshot of the season pass gives us an idea of what they look like. One turns the player into a giant pink juggernaut, the second seems like it's more made for sneaking around in the woods, and the final new armor is... well it turns your character into a robotic fox furry. If that's what you're into, more power to you.
Finally, in January the biggest reason to nab the season pass shows up, with a full story expansion. Titled The Kraken, this multi-hour expansion will see you exploring an aircraft carrier near Jericho City. There hasn't been many details on what exactly the expansion will have you doing yet, but it's always good to get another chance to stick around in a game you may enjoy.
The Surge 2 is available right now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Season Pass is currently available for the price of $19.99.
