A Summer Game Fest 2020 Developer Showcase for Day of the Devs and The Game Awards, respectively, have been announced by Geoff Keighley. This upcoming summer event will be showing off a ton of cool new games that are in development including both indie and AAA titles.
If you've been sleeping on this event, the Summer Game Fest is the creation of Geoff Keighley and intended as a multi-month celebration of the gaming world. Most recently, Keighley revealed Unreal Engine 5 during a livestream.
Now, a Summer Game Fest 2020 Developer Showcase has been announced for June and July 2020, each of which will be headed up by organizations that have been exploring the newest and coolest stuff in gaming.

What Developers Will Feature in a Summer Game Fest 2020 Developer Showcase?
While these Developer Showcases are still accepting submissions, a number of developers have already confirmed that they will be featuring new games in these showcases.

The Day of the Devs Summer Game Fest 2020 Developer Showcase will be taking place on June 22, 2020.
Day of the Devs is a platform that was created by Double Fine Productions (Psychonauts, Broken Age) and video game collectible site iam8bit in 2013. This organization has a particular focus on the indie side of the gaming industry.
When is The Game Awards Summer Game Fest 2020 Developer Showcase?
The Game Awards Summer Game Fest 2020 Developer Showcase will be kicking off a month later on July 20, 2020.
If you're somehow unfamiliar with The Game Awards, this particular organization was created by Geoff Keighley, the same guy behind the Summer Game Fest 2020. This awards show was created after the Spike Video Game Awards (which also involved Keighley) was no longer being produced.
You'll be able to enjoy these cool streams of new gaming content in June and July along with a few other streams every now and again. If you're a game developer, you can fill out this form to submit your game for consideration.
