Street Fighter 6 Cammy

Today Capcom published a video showing another match between two of two characters that will be playable in Street Fighter 6, Cammy and Manon.

As usual with this kind of video, we get to see the match in the quick three-round format, played directly by the developers. While Manon is a brand-new character debuting with Street Fighter 6, Cammy is a veteran who debuted all the way back in 1993 with Super Street Fighter II.

You can check the match out below.

If you're unfamiliar with Cammy, here's how Capcom officially describes her.

First appearing in Super Street Fighter™ II, the cat-loving Cammy returns with her beloved arsenal of high-powered attacks, including Spiral Arrow, Cannon Spike, and Hooligan Combination. The Heavy version of each of those three moves has been enhanced to allow for a delay which results in altered properties for some big damage. Visit King Street, Cammy’s foggy, industrial stage, and perform deadly Super Art moves like the Killer Bee Spin and Delta Red Assault to send opponents to their knees and get the crowd buzzing.

... and here's how Manon is introduced:

A supermodel and world champion judoka, Manon struts the catwalk of street fighting to become the world's strongest model. Manon’s move set is a graceful union between judo grappling and classical ballet with moves like the Manège Doré, Renversé, Pas de Deux, and more. Find her in the Fȇte Foraine stage in France, a dazzling carnival amidst the French skyline.

This follows several gameplay clips showcasing full matches played by the developers including Lily versus E. Honda, Marisa versus Manon herselfDee Jay versus Dhalsim, Blanka versus JP, and Zangief versus Marisa. We recently also learned that Japanese actress Hikaru Takahashi joined the roster of commentators for the Real-Time Commentary feature introduced for the game.

Street Fighter 6 is releasing on June 2, 2023. This time around, it's returning to its multiplatform nature, as it'll launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It'll also come to the arcades via Taito, albeit that version won't probably leave Japan at least for the time being.
