New Street Fighter 5 Ryu and Chun-Li costumes will be available for a limited time starting next week and there's something special about them:: purchasing these costumes supports an important charity.

Street Fighter 5 has been out for a good few years now and is still going strong. Now, Capcom has decided to use its large community of fighting game fans to support a good cause through the upcoming sale of new Ryu and Chun-Li costumes -- and 100% of the proceeds are going to support breast cancer research.

As this thread on ResetEra reports, the new Street Fighter 5 Ryu and Chun-Li costumes were revealed earlier today on the game's social media accounts.

"Let’s stand together! On Oct 12, limited-time, pink-themed @BCRFcure costumes for Chun-Li and Ryu will be available in #SFV," read a tweet from the official Street Fighter account. "All proceeds received from these costume purchases will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation!"

Further details are listed in the above image included with the announcement on the game's social media accounts, noting that 100% of the proceeds will go to charity and that Capcom is guaranteeing a minimum donation of $25,000.

Capcom will donate 100% of the proceeds that it receives from your purchase to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation with a guaranteed minimum donation of $25,000 USD. Capcom will disclose the total amount of its donation following the end of the campaign.

Your purchase of these costumes will support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a charitable organization that has 3-star rating on Charity Navigator and an A rating on CharityWatch. This organization has proven to be a popular choice for game developers wishing to support breast cancer research; most recently, Ticket to Ride and Warframe announced their own campaigns to support this charity. The BCRF is also the same organization that benefited from sales of the Pink Mercy skin in Overwatch.

Aside from these new Street Fighter 5 costumes, Capcom is also running a Tiltify campaign to support the BCRF. These costumes will be available from October 12-November 12, 2021, but you'll need the game to play it -- you can buy Street Fighter 5 for PC and consoles via its official website starting at $19.99 or your regional equivalent.
