It's that time of year. Pumpkin spice is in the air, fake cobwebs adorn the lawns and gamers dust off every horror title they can dig up from their back catalog. Feeling in the mood for something spooky and new? Steampunk Graveyard, the latest offering from Bad Logic Studios, is set to launch on Steam just in time for Halloween.

From the indie UK based developer Steampunk Graveyard is a 2D action puzzle platformer, and from the trailers, it appears to be of a similar style to their previous titles, Pirate Island Rescue and Fortunes and Gloria. Steampunk Graveyard, however, is pulling no punches with its creepy Halloween theme, having you journey from graveyard to graveyard to battle the metallic undead. The villainous Baron Richter Von Sprocket (try saying that ten times fast) has summoned up a horde and turned them into half zombies/half automatons, which he controls from his hot air balloon, floating high above the battles.

You play as his former student, Professor Selene Gasket, attempting to keep a lid on the Baron’s chaos before it’s too late. Of course, fighting zombies will require the utmost in high-tech, steampunk weaponry and Professor Gasket comes fully equipped. You’ll be fighting with explosives, spring-loaded blades and a trusty pistol, enough to take care of any zombie that crosses your path.

No price or exact release date has currently been announced for Steampunk Graveyard, but according to the Bad Logic Studios Twitter account, it is confirmed to release in time for Halloween. It is also scheduled to release with support for seventeen different languages and partial controller support but will be a PC only release for now.

Are you a fan of Bad Logic Studios? Looking forward to blasting some zombie robots and adding something new to your Halloween "games of choice" list? Let us know in the comments below!
