Space RPG Star Traders: Frontiers will be receiving a full Steam release on August 1st.
The game has been available via Steam Early Access since November 2017, a period which developer Trese Brothers Games calls "eight successful months". Star Traders: Frontiers will officially leave Steam Early Access on Wednesday, August 1st, with "updated builds" for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Star Traders: Frontiers sees players take control of a ship and crew "as a space pirate, merchant, bounty hunter, and more". Players can "journey across an endless procedurally generated galaxy", customizing their ship with "more than 300 upgrades". The game takes place after "the Exodus", in which survivors of a great war "[leave] the Galactic Core behind in search of a new home in the stars". Trese Brothers promise political intrigue, war and trade feuds in Star Traders Frontiers, all of which have "awoken something that was better left asleep".

Star Traders: Frontiers offers a total of 26 jobs through which players can experience the game's world. These jobs include spy, smuggler, pirate, explorer, merchant, and more. In addition to the aforementioned ship upgrades, crew members can also be upgraded with talents and specialized equipment; each crew member, according to Trese Brothers, is "a full character with personality traits, a history, a job, and talents". Players can engage in intergalactic diplomacy, warfare, and planetary exploration, each of which has its own set of rewards and dangers.
