Star Citizen's first dynamic event follows in the wake of the title's Alpha 3.12: Assault on Stanton update, with Cloud Imperium Games, the developer of Star Citizen, calling on all pilots to fight against a terrorist organization known as the "XenoThreat". The Dynamic Event will have multiple phases that will play out over "multiple days" as pilots will eventually band together and defend the Stanton System. Or at least you'd think so, and as a member of #teamchaos it would be hilarious if no one showed up to defend Stanton System. However, given that it's Star Citizen's first dynamic event, you'd think people would be eager to see what the game has to offer on that front.
Coincidentally, it will also be the first time that players will have a chance to join forces with the UEE Navy and lead attacks on enemy capital ships. Large-scale encounters with AI-controlled fleets including capital ships should be expected, so things might get a little explosive out there.
The Assault on Stanton Dynamic Event will begin this week, and if you would like to know more information on specific start dates and times, be sure to keep a watchful eye on both the website and the Twitter page. While the event itself will take place over a "series of days" the duration of said event will depend on how gung-ho players are in dealing with the alien menace. To sign up, look out for an alert from the Civilian Defense Force (CDF), as a CDF liaison will be automatically providing further instructions in-game.
