The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe release date has been pushed back to 2020.
If you're unfamiliar with The Stanley Parable, you're a terrible person who probably hates good video games. It's a lovely little first-person adventure title where the fourth wall is basically made out of tissue paper — it features a classy narrator who mocks you as you try to unravel the game's strange mysteries.
The Stanley Parable has been out for some time now, and the developers have been working on a sort of upgraded remake kind of thing called The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. It was supposed to release for PC and consoles in 2019, but the developers have decided to pipe up and let us know that it definitely won't be coming out until sometime in 2020.

In typical fashion, the developers have done a snarky video that explains the delay. Normally, the release date/window for a game is given in a very straightforward matter, but they've decided to go with a slightly more roundabout explanation of the whole thing. According to the game's lovable, snarky narrator, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe release date will be:

Understandably, that was a bit much for us to fit into the headline. The developers revealed the release date in a rather boring and short press release which doesn't bear repeating, especially because they've made a much better announcement video where the game's narrator tears into some fan mail:
The whole trailer is a wild ride and gives you a pretty good sense of what the game is like, so definitely take the time to give it a watch.
I played The Stanley Parable some time ago and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game; it will be interesting to see what new stuff the developers come up with next year.
