Square Enix gave us the world premiere launch trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers. Featuring two new classes, Gunbreaker and Dancer, as well as races based on rabbits and lions. Familiar heroes, including members of the Scions and the Warrior of Darkness made an appearance. The trailer claims that Zodiark and Haedyln are "the most powerful... of primals."
Final Fantasy XIV Online is thriving ahead of the Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers as according to Director Naoki Yoshida the game has recently hit the highest amount of active subscribers that it has ever had, excluding anyone on trial or their 30 days free play period. This comes after they recently announced hitting 16 million total registered users. These two facts combine to show a game that is in great health right now.
FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers has a lot more coming soon information wise as the release is nearing. After E3, on June 14, the 52nd Letter from Producer Live stream will be hosted where they are promising additional details will be revealed. In the meantime, on the E3 show floor Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers is playable as players can battle Titania, ruler of the Pixies with the new jobs in Gunbreaker and Dancer playable.
FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers releases for PC and PlayStation 4 on July 2, 2019.
