Are you ready to head back into Splatoon 3 and start splatting your fellow Inklings again? Nintendo has announced Splatoon 3 Sizzle Season 2023, an event that will bring new gear, stages, challenges, and much more. It's all kicking off next month, so make sure you've honed your skills before then.
In a characteristically colorful new trailer, Nintendo shows off some of the things you can expect to see as part of Sizzle Season 2023 in Splatoon 3. Vibrant shopping-mall stage Barnacle & Dime should give you a new and exciting environment in which to show off your Splatoon 3 skills. The classic Humpback Pump Track stage from Splatoon 2 is making a return in this season, too.
Weapon-wise, the new Painbrush and retro S-Blast '92 weapons will serve as excellent splatting tools. The latter is a nice homage to the classic SNES Super Scope peripheral, too, so if you want to show off your love for classic Nintendo, here's your chance. Here's a look at Sizzle Season 2023 in all its glory.
If you're more into Splatoon 3's Salmon Run co-op mode, then there's a new stage for you to check out as well. Jammin' Salmon Junction gives you a new venue in which to take out those monstrous Salmonids, so you'll have another reason to take up your paint gun and go to town.
Of course, that's not all. Splatoon 3's weirdly in-depth Tableturf Battle card game mode is also getting a round of new cards, and there's a new catalog to peruse that's full of stylish outfits for your Inkling. All in all, Sizzle Season 2023 is looking like a pretty great excuse to head back into the weird world of Splatoon 3.
Sizzle Season 2023 begins on June 1st. You can pick up Splatoon 3 right now exclusively on Switch.
