Kingshunt

Vaki Games has announced Kingshunt, a 5v5 multiplayer game with souls-like and tower defense elements that will arrive for PC and consoles next year.

Kingshunt is a team-based third-person soulslike tower defense title where players will have to choose a hero and join the fight in a "fast-paced thriller that mixes skill with visceral hero combat." The game will pit two teams of heroes in 5v5 matches. One group, the Defenders, are of the forces of Light while the Attackers are the forces of the Undead. Each game will have two phases with changing objectives, with the end of each step spawning a AI-controlled Guardian that blocks the attackers' progress to the next stage. In order to progress, they'll have to defeat the Guardian.

Teemu Jyrkinen, CEO and Founder of Vaki Games said:

“When we set out to create Kingshunt, we knew that it would not be easy. Nothing worth doing is ever easy! Hard work and dedication are key ingredients to success. Still, when you surround yourself with passionate people, like so many in our community and those in our studio, you make the journey one worth taking.”

If you're ready to start the king's hunt, be sure to sign up for the Alpha, which will be available for PC on October 23rd via the website. If you've done that already and want to share your excitement with other players that are going to be in the king's hunt, be sure to also join their Discord.
