The roster of Soulcalibur VI just keeps growing, and this time three fighters have been discovered for the game.
First up is a brand new character to the series, Azwel, a mysterious yet somewhat maniacal individual who is slated to serve as the main antagonist in the games Libra of Soul mode, the games story mode. Azwel seems to be a scholar, whose weapon, Palindrome, gives him the power to summon weapons with telekinetic powers. Azwel also has direct ties to Soulcalibur and Souledge, which come into play in his reveal trailer.

Azwel was not the only character confirmed this past week, although in the case of the other characters, their confirmation was accidental. Series veterans and fan favorites Cervantes and Raphael were accidentally leaked online.
The two characters were apparently spotted at a competitive event in Melbourne Esports Open in Australia, per several reports stemming from a ResetEra post. Another report from AvoidingthePuddle.com also added to the leak, noting that videos of the two characters have been removed per requests from Bandai Namco and that attendees were rumored to be informed by the developers that the wrong build of the game was given to the competition. Several forum posters on the website 8WayRun, a dedicated fansite to the Soulcalibur series, also confirmed the leak to be true.
With the accidental confirmation of Cervantes and Raphael, plus the official confirmation of Azwel, there are now twenty fighters set for the final release of the game, including guest character Geralt of Rivia and one other brand new character with Grøh. It was also confirmed that Tira, with her large bladed ring, will be the first DLC character for the game.
Curiously, the final character select screen still has three spots left open for potential characters. It is unknown, but possible, that Bandai Namco will reveal a few more characters officially, before the game's launch next month.
Soulcalibur VI will release on October 19th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
