No Man's Sky

Sony has unveiled some gameplay for No Man's Sky. The gameplay for No Man's Sky shows off traversing space, the grand scope of the game itself and choosing a planet to land on and explore. No Man's Sky still doesn't have a release date, but apparently one will be announced "soon." No Man's Sky is looking to be a gigantic game with a seemingly endless number of worlds to find and explore.

The gameplay shows a space battle going on that you can join in on and take a side if you wanted, or completely ignore it and continue on your way.  Every little light on the universe map is a sun that has its own solar system with planets. No Man's Sky looks absolutely massive in size, and hopefully each planet is completely unique from each other. Also, every planet in every single solar system is fully destructible, and each planet is guarded by Sentinels that fight against explorers. After exploring, you can upload your discoveries and set up a beacon on the planet to show where you've been and what you've discovered to other No Man's Sky players.

What do you think of the massive scale of No Man's Sky? When do you think it will be released? and how long until it comes to Xbox One?
