Sony has announced the lineup for PlayStation Plus games in March. They will be available to download from the PlayStation Store from March 5 to April 1.
Headlining the list is 2016’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. This is a remastered version of 2007’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which turned the Call of Duty franchise into the large hit it has been since. The remaster runs at 4K on the Playstation 4 Pro, and with HDR on PlayStationtion 4 models.
Next up is 2016’s The Witness, a unique puzzle game from Braid creator Jonathan Blow. In The Witness, players are stuck on an island, playing as an amnesiac protagonist that must solve their way through puzzles to get off the island and figure out how they got there and how to get home.
February’s sales will be active until March 5. Sony highlights Yakuza Kiwami 2 being 40% off, as well as Hollow Knight and Just Cause 4 being 50% off for active PlayStation Plus subscriptions.
With March, Sony is also closing the book on an era – the only new games through PlayStation Plus will be PlayStation 4 games. PlayStation 3 and PS Vita will no longer receive new subscription games each month with a PlayStation Plus subscription. Those games are Divekick (PS3/PS Vita), Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3), Gunhouse (PS Vita/PS4), and Rogue Aces (PS Vita/PS4). Sony notes that the games from February will be available for download until March 8, and they will remain playable as long as your subscription is active.
“Any PS3 and PS Vita games you’ve already downloaded, or will download, prior to March 8, 2019, won’t be affected by this change. Those games will still be part of your PS Plus games library as long as you remain a member. Your game saves and other benefits of PS Plus will also remain the same. “Are you excited for this month’s lineup? Wish any were different? Let us know in the comments.
