The first Season Pass for Sniper Elite 5 is now coming to an end, but now without one big surprise for the players. The developers at Rebellion have decided that this is the perfect time to add a new mission to spice things up before the next season.
This new mission was released today, November 29, 2022, and includes a few great additions other than the new mission. Of course, the mission is the bread and butter of this update, so let's discuss what players can expect from it. Conqueror is the title of the mission, where players will take notice that though the Nazis are retreating, they are not ready to give up just yet. In a last-ditch effort to survive, they take up residence in the historic area known as the town of Falaise.
Using the coveted castle that once belonged to William the Conqueror, the Nazis build reinforcements and use it as a main base of sorts. It will be up to the players to breach these castle walls and take down the Nazis one by one until they reach the General. Once the General has been defeated, only then will players be able to call in the ally reinforcements to complete the assault on the castle grounds.

Along with the new mission comes a new weapon to demolish enemies in the players' path; the Drilling Shotgun. Sporting a triple barrel, it is absolutely devastating at close range, and can still be deadly from afar with the right attachments. As if these additions weren't enough, the devs are also handing out some free goodies to the players as well with the 30th anniversary of the Sniper Elite series just around the corner.
To learn more about the update to come, players can check out the Sniper Elite 5 trailer. To get all of the goodies at once, players can expect to spend $34.99, but for those on a tighter budget, there is a $9.99 standalone purchase for just the season pass itself.
