Sniper Elite 5 Season Pass 2 is here, and it's got lots of new content to offer. Forking out for the new Season Pass gets you a brand new campaign mission, Rough Landing, as well as two iconic weapons and more. If you're not in the mood for paying up, though, there's still some free content to enjoy.
The first Sniper Elite 5 season pass came to an end in December with a new mission, so it's fitting that the second one begins that way. Rough Landing can be played either solo or in co-op, and it takes you into a dense forest to find Allied pilots who've been shot down by the Nazis. It's cramped, so you may have to resort to close combat more than once.
To assist you in your mission, you'll get access to two new weapons. First up is the iconic Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle, which you can use to take down targets at range. The Sjögren shotgun, meanwhile, is best for close-quarters engagements, but as one of the first semi-automatic shotguns, it's got plenty of stopping power. Even if you don't buy the new season pass and get access to the above content, you are getting three new weapons entirely for free: the Double 1866 pistol, the Trench Gun, and the Carl Gustav M/1945 SMG. These weapons have been added as a free update to Sniper Elite 5, so make sure to jump into the game and grab them if you want to try them out.
Sniper Elite 5 Season Pass 2 is available for purchase on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox right now. It'll cost you $29.99. If you'd prefer to pick up the Rough Landing pack, which includes the mission and the two weapons outlined above, then you can grab it standalone for $14.99.
