Who loves special events? Everybody does, of course. Who loves SMITE? Quite a few people I'd say. Combine the two things and you'll have the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, the latest limited time event for the third person MOBA that will take place from the 25th to the 27th of September.

During the weekend of the event, all the gods of the Chinese pantheon will be unlocked so you can try and play them at your heart's content. There's also a few more goodies available:

  • All Chinese Gods are Free to Play
  • All Chinese skins are 25% off
  • Free Chinese Pantheon Icon in Daily Login Bonus
  • Mid-Autumn Festival Match of the Day Mode
  • This event is for both PC & Xbox.

So if you want to try that god or there's a particular chinese skin you were considering to pick up for a while, this may be the best time to do so. The chinese pantheon icon is also a good incentive to log in SMITE this weekend as well.

The gods that will be playable for free this weekend are:

  • Ao Kuang
  • Chang'e
  • Guan Yu
  • He Bo
  • Hou Yi
  • Ne Zha
  • Nu Wa
  • Sun Wukong
  • Xing Tian
  • Zhong Kui

In addition to what stated before, during the event the Hunter and Spring Festival chests will be available to purchase. Both will be 25% off the original price and will cost 300 gems. It could be your last chance to get some exclusive skins like Moonlight Love Chang'e, Carnaval Queen Neith or Primal Huntress Artemis, so better put those gems to a good use!

Do you play SMITE? Are you one of those that discovered it since it launched on Steam or you are a veteran player? Is there something you're considering purchasing during the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival? Let us know in the comments below!
