Titan Forge Games and Hi-Rez Studios revealed a new collaboration that is coming soon to their popular free-to-play battle arena game Smite.
The crossover features skins from the classic toy and multimedia franchise by Hasbro G.I. Joe.
Specifically, Hou Yi will get both Cobra Commander and Duke, Neith will get both Baroness and Scarlett, and Susano will turn into both Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. Basically, whether you enjoy siding with G.I. Joe or Cobra, the crossover content is pretty much symmetrical.
You can check out the trailer showing what the skins look like below. The crossover will launch soon, precisely on Tuesday, April 18 with update 10.4.
Smite is currently available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Collaborations with other franchises are quite common. For instance, recently we saw an extensive one with Wizards of the Coast's Magic: The Gathering.
If you're unfamiliar with G.I. Joe, it debuted as a toy line by Hasbro in 1964. The franchise has sparked cartoons, theatrical films, and plenty of video games (none of which has ever been good, to my knowledge).
