SMITE has been released for the first time on PC the 22th March of 2014. This means that next week marks the second anniversary since the start of the neverending battle of the gods. Hi-Rez decided to play reverse birthday and bring their fans gifts and goodies all week long, from discount to bonuses of all kind. The event will start Tuesday March 22nd and will last until Monday March 28th. Every day of the event will bring something new.
First things first, for the whole duration of the event the Ultimate God Pack (that, we remind you, unlocks all past, present and future gods) will be purchasable, for the first time ever, at a 50% discount. In addition to that, all Gems will be 33% off, PlayStation players will be able to purchase the Founders Pack for PS4 at 50% off and all players will receive double daily login bonuses. Since its release, SMITE became a force to deal with in the MOBA scene and the eSports scene. The uniqueness of its gameplay paid off and resonated with players, that made the game grow to its current size. SMITE counts tens of thousands of games played every day (over 160k today only according to smite guru) by more than 14 million unique users. 74 gods spread across 8 pantheons battle each other constantly. With the release of the game for Xbox One last year and on PS4 in the next few months, SMITE is also leaving a sign on the console market.
