Skul: The Hero Slayer has a new update coming very soon. December 29th, in fact, if you want to test out the beta for the Dark Mirror update. Unsurprisingly, the update features a dark mirror that is emitting a strange energy that you'll have to deal with. There are also powerful enemies that you'll have to fight and mysterious abilities that you can use to conquer these new challenges that are being thrown at you.
The full release of the update is January 12th, so you'll have just under two weeks to test out the beta and give feedback to the developers. Maybe the dark mirror is too dark? You never know. Maybe you'll want to check out a Twin Mirror instead if it remains too dark? Just a thought.

As for the game itself, Skul: The Hero Slayer is an action platformer with roguelite elements. As the lone skeleton known as Skul, you must wage war against the both the Hero of Caerlon and the Imperial Army, which doesn't sound like too big of a challenge. After all, there are only hundreds of them.
You'll gain new abilities by wearing the skulls of your foes, which sounds pretty gnarly but since the game is called Skul, it's to be expected. You'll be able to use the captured skulls to create combos, increase your own speed and power, and switch them in battle to take down whoever is unfortunate enough to get in your way. There are also massive bosses and adventurers you'll have to face, so don't get too confident in your abilities because this game will try to throw a few curveballs your way.
