The next Sims 4 Community Voted Stuff Pack is about knitting, which is an... interesting choice. I mean, hey, the people voted for it, right and folks seem to be knitting more with the current situation?

Players will now be able to knit their own clothing, with Sims having the ability to unlock exclusive clothing that is knitted only, which will be made available for anyone in that household to wear.

There will be a UI that will show the displays that are locked behind the Create-A-Sim clothing items. This is so players can view how knitted sweaters and socks will look before knitting them, and how everything else that a Sim can create will look.

For a game adding knitting, adding rocking chairs seems like a very natural choice as well. If you were to picture someone knitting, you would probably picture a grandma-esque lady knitting in a rocking chair of some sort. With the Sims, you can now achieve your dream of becoming old before your time as you sit in a rocking chair that will... rock your world. Sims will be able to talk, watch TV, listen to music, read books, and knit while using rocking chairs. Basically, if you can do something while sitting, the developers of Sims 4 will try and make it work.

Speaking of old people, Elders will be able to Reminisce while sitting in a rocking chair, and they'll be able to recall days when they weren't so old and boring. Not too far back though, because that's probably when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and when everything was in black and white, but a while back.

Also included in the next community pack is Plopsy, which is an online store that's definitely not based off of Etsy and where Sims can sell their crafted art. It isn't a new field of work or anything, but something that Sims can do as a side-job of sorts if they want to make some extra money. Knitted items can be listed on Plopsy, as well as crafted art in general.
