Welcome to Shoestring Gaming, the weekly segment where we scour the Internet high and low to try to find some fantastic game deals for you. We know no one can buy all the games, but we want to help you find some good new ones to add to your collection while also not blowing your budget. This week we have a game from Steam, a digital code from Amazon and one from GetGames; we will also be talking about some other generic deals going on in case those three aren't your type of game.

At the moment, Qbeh-1: The Atlas Cube is having a 90% off sale on Steam. Qbeh-1 is a game from developers Liquid Flower and is what you would get if Portal and Minecraft had a baby that somehow got cross spliced with a little bit of resource management. You move through worlds picking up and putting down a limited number of blocks that you will come across. Some blocks are just for standing on, while others have effects such as lowering gravity or working as moving platforms. If you're a VR enthusiast and have access to an Oculus DK1 or DK2, then also know that this game has full VR support which you can learn more about in Ocular Reality.

Over at Amazon, if you're getting excited for the new Fallout game but are sad that it isn't out yet, there is a sale on a PC download code for Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout: New Vegas allows you to explore the Nevada Desert as the courier while searching for the man that was shot and left for dead because of a package you were delivering that was saved. It's now your job to figure out what happened and who you have to take down a peg in this post-apocalyptic world. The beauty of the Fallout franchise, though, is that if you don't want to go do that straight away then you have a giant world filled with people, stories, and random boxes to loot for their useless crap.

If Fallout isn't your thing but you're still excited for games coming out in the future, then maybe Just Cause 2 is more up your alley. GetGames is currently selling Just Cause 2 with a great 66% discount, and it's as good a time as ever to catch up on the franchise before the release of Just Cause 3. In Just Cause you play as agent Rigo Rodriguez, and it's up to you to hunt down and kill your mentor who has disappeared onto the island of Panau, a tropical paradise. You will be able to explore the entire island as you follow your quest, and with a unique grapple/parachute mechanic, you have complete aerial freedom to travel as high and fast as you can to get around as fast as possible. With weapons, vehicles, and plenty of objectives, it's a big world for you to do whatever you want.
There are also some great deals going on at the moment like the most recent Humble Bundle, the current Xbox weekly Deals with Gold and a summer sale from PlayStation.
What do you think of this weeks deals? Are there any big ones that I have missed? What kind of things do you want to see us focus on for Shoestring?
