Welcome again to Shoestring Gaming, where we uncover the best deals across the Internet and beyond, so you can save a little money on the games you want to buy other things, preferably more games. These deals can come from anywhere, and includes some special deals for console gamers as well. Keep in mind, most of these sales are for a limited time, so you need to jump on them right away. Also remember, TechRaptor makes money on some of your clicks here (and we totally appreciate it).

Let's kick it off with Green Man Gaming, only because they have a lot this week with not one but two big package sales, plus tons of individual games that are on sale. First big sale is their Hail the Hero sale, featuring titles such as Deus ExThe FallChivalry: Medieval Warfare, and oddly enough, Goat Simulator. There's tons of games in this sale ranging from well known titles like Tomb Raider to indie favorites like Super Meat Boy. The second sale is on Dovetail Games, which could accurately be called the Train Simulator sale. It's basically every Train Simulator plus DLC. If you don't like trains, there's a few other titles on the discount table this week. A new rogue-like indie game Eternal Step was just released for 20% off, the game Broforce is 33% off, and you can preorder the psychological horror The Park for only $10 right now. There is also currently an interesting deal on some indie games. Right now if you purchase one of these indie titles, you get another random title for free. And you can get another 25% off if you use this voucher (until October 19th): 25PERC-AWESME-INDIES. If you want to get 20% off your total purchase and pick up some other games, you can use this voucher until October 20th: 20PERC-HARVST-SAVING.

This week on, you can get games recommended by the #StreamTeam for 50% or 75% off. Get your choice of F.E.A.R.Surgeon Simulator, and Saints Row: The Third, plus tons of other titles. Those sales are only good for this weekend though. You can also get The Escapists for 40% off right now, This War of Mine for 60%, or all of The Walking Dead for 50% off per title. There are a few other sales at GOG too if you're interested in those.

Here is where I insert the obligatory reminder about the GameFanShop. There are ALWAYS great deals here, perpetually. Starting October 23rd there will be even more on THIEF and Shadow Warrior. Where else are you gonna get Mortal Kombat X for $16. You're not.

Over at Humble Bundle, their new big bundle is all about Capcom games, including Resident EvilDMC: Devil May Cry, and Lost Planet 3. This time around, your purchase will also go to support Direct Relief and GamesAid, the second of which distributes their funds to other gaming industry charities every year. The Weekly Bundle celebrate Valentine's Day 2 with some lovey dovey games, or lovey pidgeon-y games rather (I'm not sorry). Those purchases will also support Direct Relief, along with Worldreader and Rotary International's campaign to end polio. In the Humble Store, celebrate Borderlands Weekend, truly a wonderful time. You can get all three titles, Borderlands: Game of the Year EditionBorderlands 2, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for less than $23 and give to a good cause of your choice at the same time. Other games on sale this week include The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth and you can pre-order Just Cause 3 for 10% off.

Now time for Steam. What's the big deal this weekend? It's all about Deep Silver games. Meaning all the Saints Row, all the Metro Redux, all the Dead Islandall the RisenSacredLost Horizon and Secret Files, or if you're a risk taker you can pre-order Mighty No. 9That's a lot for one weekend sale, but that's Deep Silver for you. If you aren't interested in any of those, as always Steam has pages and pages of deals on plenty of other titles from the smallest indie to GOTY AAA. Including Goosebumps: The Game, if you wanna play that instead of seeing the movie.

Onto consoles: Xbox Gold members can get GTA V and a bunch of Dragon Age games at a discount right now. Unfortunately, no deals for non-Gold members this week except for a small discount on Overlord pre-orders. Playstation on the other hand is currently holding their Flash Sale! (emphasis theirs) until October 19th. You can get Don't Starve: Console Edition, titles from the Bioshock series for up to 85% off, or Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell. This sale is for everyone, not just Playstation Plus members, so take advantage of it. Playstation also has another Grand Theft Auto sale going on, as well as a WB sale, and a bunch of other games on sale. It's a good weekend for Playstation owners essentially.

As always, if you know about any great deals that we didn't mention here, make sure to share with your fellow game in the comments below and let us know if you picked up any of these games. Also if you know any sites that regularly hold sales, let us know and we'll include them in Shoestring.
