The Shadow Warrior 3 release date has been revealed: you'll be able to play this upcoming first-person shooter on PC and consoles in early March 2022.
First announced back in 2020, Shadow Warrior 3 was supposed to launch last year. Unfortunately, it ended up being delayed until sometime in 2022. Now, we know that we'll be able to continue the adventures of Lo Wang in early March 2022 -- check out the release date announcement trailer!
Shadow Warrior 3 continues the general plotlines of the first two games in this remade series. There are foul demons afoot, and Lo Wang is the one who's best equipped to stop them with a mix of stylish sword combat and a lot of guns.
This time, Lo Wang will be teaming up with the witch Orochi Zilla after the pair did a bit of a whoopsie and accidentally unleashed a dragon on the world. Aside from all of the fun gameplay in previous titles, players can also look forward to the addition of a grappling hook. Of course, all of the cheesy dialogue and puns will be here, too.
When is the Shadow Warrior 3 Release Date?
The Shadow Warrior 3 release date is March 1, 2022. You'll be able to play the game on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Unfortunately, a native next-gen version won't be available on launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
If you're new to the franchise, there's a nice bonus for console players: anyone who pre-purchases Shadow Warrior 3 on PlayStation or Xbox will instantly unlock access to the first two Shadow Warrior games. As for PC players, you can get all three games in the Shadow Warrior Trilogy bundle for just $61.17 or your regional equivalent; alternatively, you can purchase Shadow Warrior and Shadow Warrior 2 individually starting at $3.99 until February 3, 2022, as part of the Steam Lunar New Year Sale.
However you decide to do it, there's about a month to go until the Shadow Warrior 3 release date -- you can pre-purchase the game for PC and consoles starting at $49.99 or your regional equivalent via its official website.
