Publisher 2K Sports has announced the season pass content for the upcoming wrestling game, WWE 2K16.

2K16 will be getting a huge swath of content, some of which is already commonplace for the series such as paying for an "accelerator" to unlock in-game content  for $1.99, or a new moves pack containing 30 different wrestling moves for $3.99. The real meat of this DLC plan, however, is the other major packs; the Legends Pack, the 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase, and the Future Stars Pack.

The Legends Pack will cost $8.99, and allow players to add WWE Legends Lita, Mr. Perfect, The Big Boss Man, Dusty Rhodes, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Trish Stratus into the game.  The Future Stars Pack is more or less the same style, allowing WWE 2K16 owners to add NXT stars Samoa Joe, Blake and Murphy, and Diego and Fernando to their game for $7.99

The big pack is the Hall of Fame Showcase. For only $9.99, you will get access to seven different matches for WWE 2K16, featuring the men and women inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015. These seven matches include the following:

  • “Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. Jake “The Snake” Roberts;
  • Rikishi vs. The Rock;
  • Alundra Blayze vs. Paige;
  • Larry Zbyszko vs. Arn Anderson;
  • Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ric Flair;
  • The Bushwhackers (Butch Miller and Luke  Williams) vs. The Natural Disasters (Typhoon and Earthquake);
  • The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) vs. Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray);

The pack includes about ten new wrestlers, as well as alternate skins and possibly arenas for the main game.

Of course, if you wish to buy them all in a season pass, WWE 2K16 will offer all of the DLC mentioned above for the one-time price of $24.99.
