Today Rare published a new video showing off what's coming to its game-as-a-service Sea of Thieves in the near future.

We take a good look at Halo-inspired cosmetics, which come in a full set tomorrow, February 16. They're called the "Infinite Depths Collection" and they'll be available in the Pirate Emporium.

A free "pancake flipping" emote will be provided as a login bonus for free between February 17 and February 24.

Next, lead designer Christopher Davies explains what's next for Adventures. There is going to be a slightly longer pause than usual before the next Adventure because the developers are "making way on amazing content that's coming along."

They want to celebrate the game's 5th anniversary and give Season 9 time to shine. On top of that, they have "a couple more surprises" coming, but Davies did not reveal any further details on this. Yet, he promised that 2023 "is going to be another magical year for Sea of Thieves" with "so much great content on the way and some amazing stories still to tell."

You can watch the video below.

If you're unfamiliar with Sea of Thieves, it's currently available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and of course Game Pass. Incidentally, Destruction AllStars developer Lucid Games recently announced that it has joined up to help Rare create all that amazing content promised today.
