Season seven of Sea of Thieves is still underway, and the developers at Rare Ltd have announced yet another update to the game, Return of the Damned. With the update comes some thrilling new adventures, bug fixes, and more.
In the past few months, Sea of Thieves has had some major updates come to the game including Season Seven, which was actually delayed at one point in order to polish and fine-tune it for release. The latest update is Sea of Thieves Return of the Damned, where players will now be able to choose how they want to turn the tides of the sea in their favor. The Herald of the Flame was defeated, but not without consequence, as it is now the time of resurrection. What does that mean for the crew? It is time to pledge your allegiance in the games ninth time-limited adventure, of course!
To embar on the latest journey, players will need to speak to Larinn, who will inform them that two souls of the most infamous and powerful pirates now hangs in the balance. It is up to the players to decide who they will save; will you choose Team Flameheart or Team Pendragon? Pendragon sacrificed himself in order to halt the Reapers’ ritual, and now their only goal is to banish Flameheart’s spirit to the Sea of the Damned once and for all. Or, will you choose Flameheart and protect this ritual that is an attempt to revive his father? Choose wisely, as this is not a choice you will able to come back from..
Regardless of which alliance you choose to form, players will still clash among the sea forts during the limited-time adventure. When players have acquired several sea forts, players must locate Dark Relics scattered about each of the sea forts and bring them back to their team of choice, Belle or the Servant of the Flame. Players that join in on this new adventure will receive several rewards to cherish and remind them of the valiant battle fought at sea between the two leaders.
The Sea of Thieves Return of the Damned event is live as of today, November 3, 2022, and will end on November 17, 2022.
