Ebb Software has revealed the Scorn release date window -- you can expect this upcoming adventure horror game to launch on PC and consoles in late 2022.
Scorn is an upcoming survival game that has got a fair amount of attention due to its visuals reminiscent of H.R. Giger's art. This first-person horror adventure game will throw players into a "dream-like world" that has a particularly unsettling environment. A relative lack of ammo (akin to survival horror games) is sure to keep you on your toes, too -- this game is less Doom and more Silent Hill.
Ebb Software had previously shown off next-gen footage of the game at an Inside Xbox last year; shortly thereafter, it praised the power of the CPUs in next-gen consoles. The devs have also had a misstep or two, most notably with a harshly-toned update released to Kickstarter backers early last month -- a move that company CEO Ljubomir Peklar quickly apologized for. Now, we finally have a better idea of when we'll be able to play it.
When is the Scorn Release Date Window?
The Scorn release date window is sometime in October 2022 according to a tweet from the developers (via Reddit); a more specific release date has not yet been announced.
While the wait will be long, this game is probably something that you'll want to keep on your radar -- especially if you're a fan of horror games. You can add Scorn to your wishlist on Steam and you can learn more about the game on its official website.
