Today Spike Chunsoft announced the western release date and more details for Mages' visual novel Anonymous;Code.
The game, produced by Chiyomaru Shikura, will launch in North America and Europe on September 8, 2023, for PC via Steam, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. It'll cost $59.99, € 59.99, or £49.99 regardless of platforms, and the console versions are even getting a physical "Steelbook Launch Edition" with an alternate box art drawn by character designer Haruhisa Nakata. This time around, both Japanese and English voices will be included, and today we get the reveal of part of the English voice cast including Max Mittelman as Pollon, Anairis Quiñones as Momo, and Y. Chang as Cross.

You may have noticed that the headline mentions "Science Adventure" which is a franchise of visual novels the most well-known of which is Steins;Gate. More examples are Chaos;Head Noah, Chaos;Child and Robotics;Notes. Anonymous;Code is the latest of the franchise, released in Japan last year after many, many delays.
To give you an idea, the game was originally supposed to launch on PS Vita and it was announced a whopping eight years ago in 2015. At some point, many fans simply lost hope, but ultimately Mages managed to deliver.
