Today, Windwalk Games announced their debut title Enemy on Board, an online multiplayer title that is inspired by Mafia and Werewolf.

Like Werewolf and Mafia, Enemy on Board will have players guessing who their enemies are. Six players will awaken aboard the spaceship Andromeda, whereupon they will have to decide who the two aliens are. Players will have a large variety of tools at their disposal: weapons, voice communication, and the tools needed to find and kill the aliens. Once accomplished, the survivors win. If the Aliens manage to keep their identities hidden and kill the crew, they win.

This isn't like similar titles in the genre where there is little actual gameplay involved. There will be real-time combat in Enemy on Board, and players will need to keep their ship stable. If they neglect maintenance of the Andromeda, the ship could go under multiple critical system failures, leading to the ship exploding and killing everyone on board.

The rounds will be short, and each match will last 6-8 minutes. When the game is released, there will be a battle pass that will allow players to unlock new skins, starting items, and cosmetics. Truthfully, out of all of those, unlocking new starting items is the most worrying, because if players are able to unlock starting items that are better and better over time, then the game could become unbalanced very quickly.

Besides that, there will be seasonal content following a storyline of sorts, along with a map and item editor where players can build new maps, items, and modes to share with their friends in custom matches.

For those interested in playing Enemy on Board, be sure to wishlist the game on Steam and to sign up on the official Discord server for key giveaways. Enemy on Board will release later this year for PC and Mac.
