Strategy Forge has revealed Superheroes Academy, a new management and strategy game that puts players in charge of a team of up-and-coming superheroes in a dangerous world full of villains.
It's been pretty good for superhero fans in recent months. Marvel's Avengers launched the War For Wakanda Expansion a few months ago and most recently killed off some unpopular microtransactions. Fans of the genre also got to enjoy the latest Marvel release Guardians of the Galaxy. Now, a brand-new superhero game in a different vein has just been revealed -- check out the trailer for Superheroes Academy!
Superheroes Academy puts you in charge of a school for superpowered individuals, housing them and training them up to fight crime. It's a lot like a certain mansion with a stealth plane under the basketball court.
That's not all you do, though -- after all, what good are superheroes if they don't go out and fight crime? Aside from the management aspects of the game, you'll be able to send teams of heroes out into the world to battle all sorts of nefarious villains in tactical combat. While you'll fight more than your fair share of ordinary crooks, you'll also have to contend with deadly supervillains in your quest to save the world.
When is the Superheroes Academy Release Date?
The Superheroes Academy release date will be sometime in 2022; a more specific release date has not yet been announced, nor has the price for this upcoming game been revealed.
For now, this looks like a game that management and tactical combat fans should keep an eye on. You can add Superheroes Academy to your wishlist on Steam and you can look forward to it launching sometime next year.
