If you love driving games, you'll soon have the opportunity to play something pretty interesting on your PC: the Nightvision: Drive Forever release date has been locked in for early October 2020.

Nightvision: Drive Forever is exactly what it says on the tin: a game where you can drive forever. Described as a "road-lite," it offers players the opportunity to take their car across procedurally generated terrain and roads in the dead of night.

Curious about how the game plays? Check out the Nightvision: Drive Forever Secret Modes trailer to see many of the other ways you can enjoy the game this October:

There will be a story for players to enjoy, although it won't be easy. Driving at night is challenging enough, and this game's design means that you can't quite be sure what's around the next corner. The road, terrain, and other vehicles will provide plenty of hazards for you to overcome.

Outside of the story, there will also be various challenges that you can undertake. Nightvision: Drive Forever will feature over a billion world seeds. Once you factor in the other randomization elements and design algorithms, you come up with more than ten quintillion (10,000,000,000,000,000,000) potential levels. Suffice it to say, you won't have any shortage of new challenges.

As seen in the trailer above, there will also be a whole bunch of variant game modes available. Players can play one of these randomized roads, enjoy an endless mode, or create and share their own challenges using level passphrases. Now, you'll soon be able to play this game in just a few short weeks.
