Capcom announced Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be available in both episodic download and physical copy versions when the game launches early 2015.
The game will first release as a weekly episodic download, with the disc based versions coming later on. Four episodes will release over 4 weeks, each costing $5.99. “The Complete Season” will be $24.99 and comes with “additional game content”. The disc version, which will come with content exclusive to the physical form, will be $39.99.
The estimated length of each episode will reportedly be “hours” long with “dramatic cliffhanger” endings. The game will be released on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
