Remnant: From The Ashes Adventure Mode and Leto's Lab Coming in Free Update

The Remnant: From The Ashes Adventure Mode and a new dungeon called Leto's Lab will be arriving in September 2019 as free updates. This Souls-like third-person shooter has been pretty well received so far, and fans will surely be happy to hear that there is plenty of post-launch content on the way.

Remnant: From The Ashes Adventure Mode

Adventure Mode will give players the opportunity to get a little more mileage out of their game by re-rolling biomes once they've reached a certain point in the game. All you have to do is head to the World Stone in Ward 13 and activate this mode to get immediate results.

Here are the biomes that can be re-rolled:

• Ruined Earth
• Rhom
• Yaesha

Part of the advantage of Adventure Mode is that you can play through these areas again without having to start the game all over. It'd be a bit silly for you to lose your progress, and that's why activating this option in Ward 13 will preserve any progress and items you've received thus far. This way, you can keep re-rolling these areas and playing them in order to get the gear that you really want.

Leto's Lab — A Brand New Dungeon

The Remnant: From The Ashes Adventure Mode isn't the only new feature coming to the game! Leto's Lab is a new dungeon that will take you to Research Station Alpha. A bit of puzzle work will be involved, but you'll probably be looking forward to the crazy combat and a brand-spankin'-new boss fight.

Here's a description of this new dungeon, straight from the press release announcing these new goodies that are arriving this September:

“Leto’s Lab” takes you on a quest through Research Station Alpha. The lab was established to research the mysterious red crystals, with the initial goal of using them as a source of infinite energy. The head researcher, Leto Apostolakis, theorized the crystals could be used for something else - to bridge space-time for [near-instantaneous travel.] He was the one to unlock the World Stone on Ward 16 allowing mankind to take their first fledgling trips to other worlds. Leto’s experiments quickly diverged from their initial goal as he started using the World Stones to fuel a series of dubious experiments. The lab continued operating for months after the Root invaded, but was ultimately forced to evacuate when one of Leto’s experiments went awry.
