There are always at least a few leaks around E3 each year. 2018 is proving to be no exception, as a page of content regarding Red Dead Redemption 2 leaked early. In fact, the pre-order page for the game on the Windows Store actually went up publicly. Microsoft quickly took down the page, but a snapshot of the page was taken before it went down.

The leak details quite a lot of information regarding pre-order bonuses. These include a war horse to ride in-game and an Outlaw Survival Kit. This is likely some items to help players get started. In that same vein, players also receive a cash bonus specifically for use in the Story Mode of Red Dead Redemption 2.

Most interestingly, however, is the inclusion of rewards for another Rockstar title. When you pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2, you receive $500,000 to use in Grand Theft Auto Online. The page claims that this is usable immediately upon pre-ordering the game by searching “$500,000 for Grand Theft Auto Online” using the Microsoft Store search bar.

In addition to all of this, the page claims that anyone who preorders by July 31st, 2018 receives “an exclusive Treasure Map for Red Dead Redemption 2 Story Mode”. Whether this implies the content is exclusive to Microsoft platforms or just exclusive to preorders isn’t clear at this time.

It is also interesting that the single-player campaign here for Red Dead Redemption 2 is being referred to as a 'story mode' - a nomenclature that is new for a Rockstar title.

Expect to see Red Dead Redemption 2 this year at E3, likely with all of this information! However, who knows what else to expect, be it trailers or gameplay. Stay tuned here at TechRaptor to keep up-to-date with all things surrounding E3!
